About Me
Hi, I’m Winnie Finesse—a filmmaker and artist with a passion for storytelling and creativity. In 2020, I graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Film and Visual Culture, but my love for the arts started long before that. Coming from a family of photographers, painters, and crafters, creativity has always been in my blood.
Born and raised in Carmarthen, Wales, I took my first artistic steps at Art College in Llanelli. Over the next decade, I explored a variety of jobs—from nightclubs to fish and chip shops, cinemas to clothing stores—gathering experiences that shaped my perspective on people and storytelling. Along the way, I also earned NVQ Level 2 qualifications in Outdoor Education Leadership and Customer Service.
It was at university that my journey truly came into focus. Surrounded by inspiring mentors and like-minded creatives, I found my artistic voice. One of the most rewarding experiences was connecting with Arts4Wellbeing, where I’m now proud to be part of the team, using art to make a difference in people’s lives.
