About Me
Winnie Finesse – Artist, Filmmaker & Storyteller
Hi, I’m Winnie Finesse – an artist, filmmaker, and storyteller from Carmarthen, Wales. My creative path began at Art College in Llanelli and deepened through my First-Class Honours degree in Film and Visual Culture, where I discovered the power of visual storytelling and found my artistic voice.
I come from a family of creative people, which has greatly influenced my work and my approach to art. Growing up in such, makes creativity feel like a natural part of my life.
I paint, knit, crochet, write stories, and bring new life to second-hand treasures through my eBay shop. My work is rooted in nature, spirituality, and everyday magic – drawing inspiration from the land, folklore, and the unseen. I’m a witchy person who lives like a Womble and is part fairy at heart – gathering, reusing, and creating with love and a touch of enchantment.
Community matters deeply to me. I volunteer at the Climate Shop and have held many other voluntary roles over the years, including work with Arts4Wellbeing, where I use art to support others on their own journeys.
I enjoy making things with my hands and my imagination – whether it’s crafting, painting, or storytelling. Everything I create comes from a place of care and curiosity, shaped by the things I love: nature, people, and everyday life. Growing up in Carmarthen and being part of my local community has deeply influenced who I am, and I try to reflect that connection in everything I do.
